His chief research interests are in cognition in a personid and social context, and he has special interests in unconscious mental processes, autobiographical memory, and the self: He is editor of Psychological Science, the flagship journal of the American Pqchological Society, and his many awards include the Al?A Distinguished Scientific Award for an early career contribution to pqchology.
